Our society has been overloaded with trendy sneakers that have caused young adults to skip school. Young adults so desperately want to fit in with their peers that they will do anything to have a pair of quality sneakers in their possession. Michael Jordan, in particular, has become a house whole name to those who love his amazing athletic abilities on the basketball court as well as his creation of Air Jordan's. Air Jordan's were established in 1996 and it was a collaboration between Michael Jordan and the National Basketball Association. Air Jordan’s are still the most popular sneaker created by a basketball player. On the other hand, Air Jordan’s has caused a lot of youth leave school early. Michael Jordan has sold approximately 10 million pairs and the number will continue to increase as long as different styles are created. Some of his sneakers are so popular that he limits the amount that he sells as well as the date he sells the shoes. One must admit, the method to managing the sneakers to absolutely brilliant. Michael Jordan is a retired NBA player who is still making a great living for himself through the uniqueness of his tennis shoe. Jordan released his tennis shoes on a Friday but violent acts were constantly recurring and police official advised him to change the date his released his popular shoes. People have reportedly been injured and pushed out of line just to get some tennis shoes. One may concluded that people are allowing tennis shoes to define who they are and making it a requirement to fit in with the crowd.
