The 1033 Program

When SWAT teams go in busting down doors with no warning is a good chance of someone getting hurt or even killed. A lot the times when a SWAT team bust in without any warning the person thinks someone is breaking their hose and their first instinct is to protect themselves. Secondly you have to think about the children. When a SWAT team bust down doors they need to take in consideration of children could be inside, and think about the well-being and safety of the child. Having children in the cross fire of things can impact a child. Also there safety children are innocent and to accidently harm or kill a child would not be a good thing. In some case SWAT teams are not needed. Cases like where SWAT teams are sent to look just look for drugs. Most of the time it is not a guarantee that drugs will be found. So for SWAT to go in and busting down doors taking a risk on harming innocent people is not a very well thought of plan. It is the same with weapons, when they think a person has weapons most of the time they are wrong and the person does not have a weapon.
