John A, Hobson, an English economist and social scientist priorly focused on imperialism, which is the extension of control and power of one’s nation, over another. Britain was a perfect example of an “imperialist power” regarding the colonization of Africa. Yet a new form a imperialism, ofter referred as Economic Imperialism, took place when the benefits of the Industrial Revolution began showing.
