One thing about the Weimar republic was that, this republic was a quick establishment of peace in Germany. This republic wasn’t meant to be in control for long, it was just to be sustained until something better came along. The negative pointers about the Weimar republic was that they never thought as to what would happen next if they took this coarse of action. For the post war peace settlement signed at Versailles in June 1919 took a huge toll on Germany. The consequences of this coarse of action had generated intense political debate and division. For the allies, the treaty had created “peace” which in fact weakened Germany, as the greatest resentment, how ever was caused by the ‘war guilt clause,’ which forced Germany to quickly accept
