Within this assignment I will explain the predictable and unpredictable events that have happened in Sir Alex Furguson’s life. First of all a predictable life event is something that is expects of the person. For example, a child meeting milestones from the previous behaviour leading to development is a predictable event. However, on the other hand an unpredictable event is something that cannot be foreseen within the person. For example, a child not meeting the meeting the required milestones for the age of the child this shows unpredictable life events. Personally, when examined his autobiography he wanted better so Sir Alex took over as boss of the renowned but underachieving Manchester United club in November 1986. However, the unpredictable event for Sir Alex was then his job was reportedly on the line after a particularly rough stretch early in the 1989-90 seasons. However, Sir Alex brought the fame through the ‘Reds’ and won the FA Cup that year then following that a string of successes replaced the rough early season stretch. The predictable events for Sir Alex where out of the ordinary but he wanted to achieve them. For example, Sir Alex’s crowning achievement came in the 1998-99 season, when he became the first manager of a British side to win the treble: the Premier League championship, the FA Cup and the European Cup. However, once Sir Alex stared winning the expected result of the next game was a win. This showed when he marked the start of a stretch in which United won three consecutive Premier League titles, and for in five year.
