What are some philosophies we consider to be universal truth? In our society, there are many different philosophies that we believe to be the universal truth. Even though it varies, it separates us into different groups because of the different views of religion, race, ethnic, and philosophy. One main philosophy that helps us unite as one is that we all speak the Language of the World. This main philosophy is shown throughout Paulo Coelho’s novel, The Alchemist, throughout Santiago's journey, experienced by Jamal Epps through an interview and also through my own experiences. One singular universal philosophy all people share, regardless of where or when they lived, is that everything and everyone speaks the Language of the World. In Paulo Coelho’s novel, The Alchemist, Santiago shows that he, himself, speaks the Language of the World. In the story, Santiago explains that the Language of the World is unspoken, wordless expression from the soul of the world, a kind of universal collective unconscious through which all people are connected with each other and the earth. An example I would like to demonstrate an example when I was in the verge of destruction towards myself and my family. Years ago I was near the verge of destruction towards myself and it would have affected my family In a drastic way. I believe that my family, friends, and the whole world helped me conspire me to go to a different path instead of the path I was going which could have end in destruction towards myself and towards those who cared for me. In some way, I felt spirits and their chant going throughout my thoughts and dreams to help me choose a different path. We are presented with the opportunity, we must find the courage to pursue it. It's a pretty obvious point, really, and this text offers nothing fresh or extraordinary in the way of helping one achieve one's
