Pebble Meditation for Kids
Pebble meditation is a great way to introduce your child to meditation. Developed by Zen master, Thich Nhat Hanh, pebble meditation was designed to give children a creative way to interconnect with nature. Pebble meditation cultivates the four qualities of happiness (freshness, stability, peace and tranquility and freedom) symbolically as fresh as a flower, solid as a mountain, still water and space.
Pebble meditation can help children deal with difficult emotions, relieve stress, improve concentration and foster gratitude. You can teach your child to practice this alone, or with you, or even as a whole family exercise.
