In the year of 1994 in Glendale Arizona, Timothy Ring took part in an armed robbery that eventually leads up to a homicide. Mr. Ring robbed an armored truck that was parked in front of the mall by shooting the driver in the head as he exited the vehicle. After shooting the truck driver in the head one of Mr. Ring’s accomplices drove the truck to a nearby parking lot so that they could run off with the money. In due course, the police finally caught on to Mr. Ring and his accomplices and they also discovered that Mr. Ring was mastermind of the operation. During Mr. Ring’s trial deliberation the jury deadlocked on premeditated murder but found him guilty of felony murder. After the verdict, the trial judge sentenced him to the death penalty because
