A stem cell transplant (sometimes called a bone marrow transplant) is a medical procedure in which diseased bone marrow is replaced by highly specialized stem cells that develop into healthy bone marrow. These stem cells can be taken from adults or embryos, however most of the time they’re taken from embryos. The embryos have to be dead in order for the stem cells to be taken. I have mixed opinions about the stem cell transplant procedure. If an adult who is fully aware of his decision and knows everything about the procedure and still agrees to donate, I think that is okay. When a baby is aborted and then used for a stem cell transplant, it is wrong. I do not believe in abortion. Killing innocent babies for any reason is wrong. In the
