The animal I’m doing research on is “The Great White Shark” and they live in the marine biome. The sharks are mostly found along the coasts of South Africa, California, Australia, and the northeastern U.S. The great white sharks also go by the names of White Death and White pointer and scientists call them Carcharodon Cararachias. The last nickname for the great white shark is the tommy shark. The lifespan of a shark is over 30 years,but a shark reaches adulthood after 15 years of age. When a shark reaches adulthood the shark is allowed to hunt and live on its own. When reaching its adulthood its teeth will get sharper and the fins get bigger, so they can turn and swim faster.
