In Tennessee Williams play, “The Glass Menagerie”, the main characters that are illustrated are Tom, his sister Laura and their mother Amanda. They seem to have issues facing the outside world. Laura is usually noticeable and unusual because she has a minor physical defect. She wears a brace on her leg, which makes her limp, but she has magnified this limp until it affected her whole personality.
