Bosom Buddies was a comedy in the early 1980's which starred Tom Hanks, Peter Scolari, Donna Dixon, Holland Taylor, Wendie Jo Sperber and Telma Hopkins. Hanks and Scolari disguised themselves as women so they could live cheaply in the Susan B. Anthony Hotel, a hotel for females only. Scolari's co- worker, played by Sperber (her character had a crush on Scolari's) is the only other person who knows the men's true identity. Bosom Buddies was a amusing show with a strong cast, but was eventually hurt by a Screen Actors Guild Strike and by a change of the show from its initial day and time slot.…show more content… The show featured Mary Tyler Moore as a career minded single woman working in a newsroom.
