The B–52 Bomber has proven its self, time after time, mission after mission. This aircraft is proof that if something is taken care of properly, it can last well past its life expectancy. The B-52 was designed and built for one purpose, to fly high, fly fast, and to be able to drop heavy payloads on a given target at a given time. The engineering that goes into building something that is big, heavy, and expected to fly with heavy equipment inside of it, is a huge task, which the engineers meet the requirements. This aircraft has a long list of daily inspections, pre-flight inspections, and post flight inspections all of which are designed to find problems before a severe problem happens.
