On June 30, 2014, my daughter and I were the victims of a distracted driver. The driver did not have his hands on the wheel on a curvy road, paying more attention to his frosty than the road. He crossed over the solid line and hit us head on. Fortunately, my daughter escaped with minor injuries. Unfortunately, I did not. I was taken to a trauma center with two broken wrists, broken right ankle and shattered left foot.
