In the article “The College Bubble”, the author, Megan McArdle talks about how expensive it is to go to college. She also talks about how much certain things in general have increased in value. For an example she uses the McDonald’s hamburger and how the value has increased about 50 percent since 1995. McArdle asks a question that would possibly catch a reader’s attention; “Is all this investment in college education really worth it?” She answers her question by saying no, and she proceeds to have a stronger suggestion that “For an increasing amount of kids, the extra time and money spent pursuing a college diploma will leave them worse off than they were before they set foot on campus.”
