Diffusion - a status in which the adolescent doesn’t have any sense of having choices. This individual may show of no desire to attempt or make any commitment.
• Hawkeye is not interested of becoming a doctor on this stage and not event attempt to start the process such as getting good grades at school to get an acceptance from specific school.
Foreclosure - it’s a status in which the adolescent agree to commit to some relevant roles and values for the future. However, since they have not experienced an identity crisis yet, they usually obey the set rules of adults such as parents. Adolescents on this status tend to allow their parents to determine a career direction for them.
