Steve Jobs was one of the greatest inventors and business people of all time. That being said, there were a lot of hard obstacles he overcame. First, let’s state what a modern day hero is. A modern day hero is someone who helps people and contributes to the county, state, country, and world. A modern day hero does what is right even though they may have hard challenges. Now I will explain why Steve Jobs is a modern day hero.
Steve Jobs is a hero because he shaped and changed many lives. Before Steve Jobs became a hero he faced some challenges. Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in the city of San Francisco. His biological parents put him up for adoption, insisting that he go to college, since they had both attended college. Steve was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. They changed his name to Steven Jobs as a toddler.…show more content… His fourth grade teacher, Teddy Hill, bribed him with candy and money so that he would like going to school and learning. He excelled so much that he skipped fifth grade and transferred to Crittenden Middle School. It was a poor area and the bigger kids liked to bully smaller kids like Steve Jobs. Then Steve Jobs told his parents to transfer him or he would quit school altogether. They had to transfer him since his biological parents wanted him to attend college and become educated. His parents transferred him to Cupertino Junior High, this would shape Steve’s future forever.
While in middle school, he became increasingly interested in electronics in his neighbor’s garage. After middle school he attended Homestead High where he enrolled in an electronics class.
