Safe Place For Tornadoes
205 Words1 Page
Have you ever had to go to your "safe place" for a tornado? Well, tornadoes are very dangerous. They can move large objects like cars, sheds, or even houses! Tornados are caused when a warm air mass and a cold air mass meet. The denser air mass will push up the less denser air mass causing a change in the air. Which will begin the circular motion. Like much severe weather tornadoes are one of the most feared.
To stay safe during a tornado make sure to follow these steps. If you hear a tornado warning go to a basement or storm shelter. If you do not have either of those go to a central part of the house. Avoid doors or windows. If you are outside try to get in a ditch. There is a difference between a tornado watch and a tornado warning though.
