Rock Hudson is still one of the most famous and interesting people in Hollywood. Impressive-looking on the big screen, an actor was high, with curly dark hair and sparkling smile. Rock Hudson was one of the last big celebrities, designed according to the studio system. He was a former postman, mechanic and truck driver. Hudson decided to come into the world of movies relying on his appearance and receiving the main role in Warner Bros. Rock Hudson was born on November 17, 1925 in Winnetka, Illinois. His real name is Roy Harold Scherer, Jr. He was the only child in a family. His father abandoned his family during the great depression. Rock’s mother married again, and his stepfather adopted him. During the Second World War, Rock Hudson served in the Navy, and was the aircraft mechanic. After the war, he tried to study, but left his studies due to poor academic performance. Even in the age of eight, the boy saw a movie with Jackie Cooper and decided to become a movie star in order to buy a new bike. Dreams of a movie did not leave him in adulthood.
