The Cask of Amontillado was a horror story written by the best writer of all time with Edgar Allen Poe. This story was written in 1846. The main characters in this story are Montresor, a wealthy, well educated rich man, and Fortunato, a very well known and well liked and he also professions in wine. Many people have said that this was his best story and I could agree. This is a very twisted story involving revenge, murder, torture, and addiction taken place in a huge system of catacombs beneath Italy
