Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating a crash that killed one man and seriously injured 5 kids. At approximately 7:39 a.m., officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to W. Washington St. and the exit ramp of I-465 S/B. reference a serious crash involving multiple injuries. Officers and firefighters from the Wayne Township Fire Department arrived and found several critically injured persons including children. A driver and 5 children were located in a gray Honda SUV and a second driver was located in a gold Ford SUV. The driver of the gray SUV was pronounced deceased at the scene.
