In Ovid Metamorphoses, the book has a passage called The Giants. At first I was intrigued by the name and wondered how giants had anything to do with this book and if giants just took a different meaning than what I was exposed to. Then I realized how short it actually was and wondered if it had a lot of meaning and thoughts behind it. If I could potentially take away more than what was just written on paper, which I eventually did.
To start, the giants wanted to make their way to heaven, they did this by attempting to build a pathway or pile up mountains to reach the stars. At that point, they were stopped in their tracks by Jupiter. Jupiter was from my knowledge was the Father of the Gods it was clear he didn’t want that to happen so he
