Hospitals ensure a healthy society and provide relief to patients suffering from various types of diseases. However, as important the hospital is, it is equally important to ensure high levels of quality in its operations as a lack of focus on quality will defeat the very purpose of this establishment. Quality has to be ensured right from the stage of the construction of hospital billing to patient registration, treatment, rehabilitation and discharge; in short, quality should be an important part of the hospital operations.
