Turning points is something that happens in everyone’s life at least once. Martin Luther was one individual with a special turning point. Luther’s turning point was in Erford, Germany. In 1505 Luther was visiting his parents in Eisleben, while coming home there was an enormous thunder and lighting storm. Most of the time when people leave their parents they are upset, but there are never any obstacles. At such time Martin Luther was riding on his horse back home through the hurricane type storm to the point he was almost stuck by lighting. The location impacted his life as well because he wanted to be the character his father made for him which made Luther believe that he could not do anything else in his life other than becoming a lawyer.
