One way Leonard supports her argument is by emphasizing that many of our everyday products that we use contain carcinogen, neurotoxins, and other harmful chemicals that can cause health issues. In Leonard video she states that, “less than 20% of all chemicals in cosmetics have been have been assessed for safety by the industry’s safety panel” (2).
