One of the most controversial topics in Canada is the legalization of marijuana. Marijuana is at times viewed as a helpful medicine but it is in fact a dangerous and harmful drug. Marijuana is a drug that is very popular with the public and is also referred to as weed, pot, grass, ganja, and Mary Jane. Marijuana can be used in various forms it can be rolled into cigarettes which are referred to as “joints”, they can also be used in pipes known as “bongs”. Marijuana can also be used to brew tea normally for medicinal purposes and also in food such as cookies and brownies. Marijuana is the most used illegal drug in Canada and the legalization of it is something that needs to be taken serious. It is an addictive drug as it will cause drug abuse, and increase crime.
