Born in Nemecký, Johann Stamitz spent much of his early time building his talent. He grew and studied here, and after marrying as a music conductor in 1744, he toured Germany and refined his composer ability. He later moved to Germany where he was appointed the director of chamber music at the Court in 1750. He then performed in Paris and died on his return to Germany at the age of thirty-nine.

Johann Stamitz was a crucial player in the classical period. As a composer, he was and still is recognized for composing over thirty albums on various genres in his short-lived existence. He notably rose to become the chief member of Mannheim school following his innovation of the symphony and use of four movements in the symphony.
