I am Malala, the girl who stood up for education and was shot by the Taliban, was a book about Malala’s life from her birth to the Nobel Peace Prize. Her family had morals and goals for education that they did not give up even if the world around them disagreed. It was a wonderful and inspiring story about her life. Her father stood up for education and she followed her lead. The Taliban was buzzing around them and putting fear in their lives’. Yet her family kept going to try hard to give education to all girls. She was noticed for her efforts after she got shot by the Taliban and survived the hit that went through her head and down to her shoulder. It talks about how pressure to leave has increased and many girls are leaving school and not getting the education they deserve and have a right to have. The issues, such as the kidnapping, killings, and other happenings, cause many students, especially girls, have not come back to school. Over the years, this has increased, the happenings and girls not going back to school. Malala was one girl though that fought agents such things and made it her goal that other girls have the education that she was blessed to have. Malala even states that she is dangerous to those who fight agents girls having an education, "Courageous young girls and women are very important.” Yet this is a fight that will keep going in the middle
