3 Lies Told By Nora In the play A Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen, the main character Nora throughout the play tries to be a devious person and sneak around with a bunch of lies. Some of her lies are to Torvald about her eating habits, random visits, and money issues. The first lie was that she told Torvald that she has not eaten any macaroons on Christmas when he asked her if she did.
