2016 Spring Program Requirements
• Have a career interest in an eligible STEM discipline, including teaching in a STEM discipline
• Accumulate 12 college-level credits prior to application
• Have and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher through the academic year
• Maintain a program of study within DCCCD in an approved eligible STEM field
• Each semester complete a minimum of (spring 2016):
6 college-level credit hours if part-time, 12 if awarded a full-time position
• Agree to attend and participate in mandatory STEM Institute events within the 2015-2016 academic year including:

-Applications for the 2016 spring term will start on September 29, 2015 and are due by November 20, 2015.
-According to its requirement, the recommendation forms must be complete by instructors and put in an envelope with the recommender’s signature across the seal. Alternately, I would have to packet all my application forms and recommendation letters, and deliver it to the DCCCD office.
-This is my first semester in the US. Therefore, I still don't have GPA. However, I asked an advisor; and she said I could apply for this scholarship. The sponsor will look at my grade at the end of the semester.
-My major is Chemistry.
