During the times of national tragedies, many politically famous people spoke with the victims and grievers. The two most outstanding speeches came from Robert F. Kennedy who addressed the public about Martin Luther King’s assassination, on April 4, 1968 during one of his rallies for the upcoming presidential election, in Indianapolis. The other came from Bill Clinton who spoke to the mourners who were affected by the Oklahoma Bombing on April 19, 1995. Both of these speeches are alike in many ways. These words made history. Robert F. Kennedy was a political activist. He was a democratic candidate for the 1964 presidential election. During this time, the Civil Rights Movement was at its peak.
