The names Beethoven, Haydn and Mozart are synonymous with the Classical period in music. Although each of the three were born in different cities but, their paths eventually did cross. The three composers crossed paths in Vienna Austria where Beethoven was able to travel to due to his popularity and successes as a performer for the wealthy. The trio was responsible for over 91 string quartets, 109 symphonies, many concertos, oratorios, sonatas and operas as part of their broad collection of works. Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) born in Rohrau, Australia, had a beautiful voice that he used to secure a spot as a choirboy in his youth.
