Senator Dick Durbin is a Democrat United States senator from Illinois. He has served in his position for 18 years. He was preceded by Illinois ex-senator Paul Simon. Since 2005 Dick Durbin has served as congress democratic whip assistant. Dick Durbin was born in East St. Louis in 1944. He attended George Town University where he received is undergrad degree in 1964, and received his law degree in 1969.
