There are many different dance cultures that are practiced in the world today. Each one is different in how they express their people and way of living. Agbekor and the Dragon Dance are two styles of dancing that are completely opposite, but they also carry on some similarities as well. Agbekor is an ancient dance style that originated in Ghana, Africa. Agbekor, was originally known as “Atamga” which meant “great oath”.
