Was Abraham Lincoln the Greatest President in History?
Was Abraham Lincoln the greatest President in American History? There were many great Presidents throughout American history. Of course there are the three other Presidents along with Lincoln on Mount Rushmore. Not just them but many other presidents could easily be argued to be the greatest President ever. In my honest opinion I do believe that Abraham Lincoln was the greatest President in history. Sure there were other outstanding Presidents such as Roosevelt, Washington, Reagan, etc. You can make an argument for pretty much every President in history maybe minus a couple but still there have been some great Presidents in the history of the United States. Even with all of these great Presidents I still believe that Abraham Lincoln is the greatest President in history.
First off why should we even consider Abraham Lincoln to be the greatest President in American history? There is a very easy answer in that Abraham Lincoln saved the union and freed the slaves. What did that really mean though?
