The massacre in Norway on 2011 was a big impact to the whole world. It all started when a man called Anders Behring Breivik detonated a bomb on the middle of the capital city of Norway, Oslo. He choose that place because it is the most populated area of the country. After he detonated the bomb he went to an island where there was a youth camp. The theory that Anders Behring Breivik crime compares to it was the choice theory that it is to choose whether he wants to do it or not. He was not obligated by no one, he did it by his own will. He said that he could only kill 91 but he wanted to kill at least the 600 campers. The Norway island massacre can be explained through choice theory because the perpetrator planned the crime knowing that he was going to be caught and sent to jail, knowing that he was going to harm many people in the country.…show more content… He had all the necessary to make the “perfect” crime and what he really planned to do to the other persons. He planned the detonation of the bomb in one of the most important and populated places of Oslo so all the police attention went there. When that happen he went immediately to the island where the camp was taking place and he said to the ferry guy that he was just on an investigation trip. He dressed as a policeman and killed first the camp leader and the real policeman that was over there as a bodyguard. After that he started hunting the kids he had 1 rifle and 1 handgun and he started killing kids and every 10 kids dead he called a different emergency center reporting the massacre on the
