POWDERSVILLE — The Powdersville Patriots played a solid four quarters at home when the Berea Bulldogs came to town Sept. 4, posting a big 24-14 win to move their record to 2-1 on the season behind the running of E. J. Humphrey and solid QB play of Emery Williams. Humphrey would lead the Patriots’ scoring attack with two TD’s on the night to go with 100-yard rushing effort. Williams would connect with J. J. Gentile for an 8-yard TD through the air, with he and Humphrey combining for three of the Patriots’ scores. Humphrey’s longest run of the night and Powdersville’s first score of the game came on the Patriots first possession. Humphrey’s second score from two yards out came in the second quarter and Williams found Gentile halfway through
