From the age of 10 years old the thought of time never actually came to me as my interest dealt with stepping up to a black three point line on the hard concrete basketball court to learning how to tackle opponents in moist and muddy grass. Everyone pays attention to time but does not actually take advantage of how many task can be done. I never cared for how long it’ll take me to get to a meeting or simply meeting mom downstairs by a certain time to go grocery shopping. I was highly involved in sports internationally known as basketball and football. As far as my memory could take me the optimist games lasted about one hour or one hour and thirty minutes. Also the school uniform policy is a solid black, orange, or white collared polo shirt. No jeans are allowed the only uniform pants accepted are khaki or black long pants. I thought that my opportunity of getting away was 90% but all that time my opinion was wrong. A security guard escorted me to CSI as they did uniform check throughout classrooms in the morning. When spending 7 hours in CSI was a joke to me because the class that was challenging that day was avoided. Showing off in front of friends choosing to be ignorant to the teacher the result got me another week in CSI. Feeling it was my vacation to get away from school and to put the work away for another day. Never feeling as though the work was challenging so in my mind the thoughts of finishing it in 4 days was satisfying. When Christmas break ended my class was required to sign up for the national test known as the ACT one last time before graduation. The process to sign for the ACT was simple to most students that knew their information. The First step is entering personal information as to your address and top college choices. Filling in questions to which our transcripts had the answer to every question. I procrastinated to sign up for the test to get me into college and offer scholarship opportunities. Missing it caused me to set an appointment for the last test that was available for seniors. This was the last time finding out that my procrastination would allow me to fail and miss out on opportunities including money. I was not a part of a club which was something that woke me up to reality. Seeing how much time can be wasted. Telling me there is so much time in a day to complete varieties of task. I could’ve simply taken out 2-3 hours out of my day to finish work assigned and sign up for essential test. It changed my whole my mind frame of time when seeking that my
