Mental illness is viewed from four different perspectives. First, mental illness is seen as weird (eccentric). Second, it has been attributed to sin. Next, some individuals view mental illness from a disease stand point. Finally, mental illness is seen by some as a disability. Mental illness viewed as eccentricity comes with two trains of thought. If an artist is unique (eccentric), it is easy to say they are just creative. People accept this form of eccentricity when it deals with talented individuals. In contrast, the political world has a hard time accepting eccentric people in politics. In politics, you have to be careful, if others believe you are insane by hearing your political views, they may contribute it to mental illness. From a
