Marx was born into a wealthy family with his father, Heinrich was a lawyer in which he grew up practicing Judaism. Marx went to the University of Jena where he received a Degree in Philosophy, later marrying and having two children. Marx and his family moved to France but shortly after fled to Britain to escape the Civil War. Soon after, he was in extreme poverty, were he watched his family starve to death. During Marx life he had fascinating views on the Federal government and the role woman had on society, both in the expectation of spreading his outlook on Communism. Living in London during the Industrial Revolution was a new beginning for modern Capitalism; which, was the rise of social class or further known as the bourgeoisie (Appelrouth and Edles. 2008. pg 23). Factories became the lively hood a men, woman, and children, dejectedly the working conditions were extremity pitiable and hazardous. With the idea of social class Marx became stronger in the belief of Communism. According to Marx communism was a system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole (Appelrouth and Edles.2008.
