Waking up at 6 am every morning seeing my brother and father in the backyard practicing and playing a strange sport i’ve never seen in my 5 years of living. Every weekday morning before school, I’ll catch my father constantly pushing and helping my brother succeed in What he was doing. My first impression was what’s the point of killing the ball with your feet, this is simply the easiest sport ever. I knew that I could master this sport instantly. One morning I walk to the backyard with the curiosity of knowing what this sport was. I asked my brother,” what is it that you're doing? what is this sport called? what is the objective in this sport?” he replies,” This is soccer Jonny, The whole objective is to try to kick the ball into that goal net and score for your team and win. There is obviously more into this sport, but once you get older you’ll get the idea of all the tactics and strategies you need to do in this sport. Right now you don’t know much you can if you wanted to learn how to play this game, but you will never be as good as me.” At that moment I just wanted to prove my brother wrong. I felt so good and proud to hear my dad say those comments. The following day, I set my alarm to wake up at 5 am in the morning to go the park and practice. I started getting more involved with the more professional tactics so I could Improve my game more. 2 hours later I see my brother with a couple of friends who were about to start their practice. They asked me if I would like to play a quick pick up game and of course I said yeah. This was my chance to prove that I was as good as my brother and to prove I can compete with older kids.
