Family Dilemma's
Families are the people who we love the most and cant imagine living without them. They have been there to support when one needs them the most, and pick up the broken pieces of a family members troubled times. However, in the Hayden Family they are filled with lies, secrets and betrayal. A family that will never be the same again, and have the same family bonds before the tragic events. Bonds severed by the actions and decisions that were made, and the effects that those have had on their family members.

The first decision that she had to make was a very tough decision because of the information that…show more content… After his wife Gail telling him that his own brother has been molesting Indian girls for a long period of time, without anyone knowing. He was appalled by the fact that his own brother could do something like this. "I wish you wouldn’t have told the sheriff!" (pg.48). He didn’t want to know what his brother had done because he had committed a crime, he had broken the law. Wes is the law in the town of Bentrock, and he had to follow by the laws of the land that he stood on. He was stuck with a dilemma, either go by the law and be the sheriff and arrest his brother for molestation. Or let him continue on with his life knowing that his brother is molesting Indian girls without arrest. He has to choose between family or the law. Honestly, if I happened to be the sheriff, and I was told that one of my brothers has been molesting young girls. I would have to go by the law and arrest him for the charges of multiple molestations. Because if he chooses to break the law knowing of the conscience's that lead up to it, then he deserves to be in jail. It is a tough decision going against someone that one loves dearly and couldn’t imagine life without them. If they choose to break the law, they also choose to owning up to the conscience's of their choice and their actions. However, Wes still hasn’t made a decision on if he should arrest Frank or to let him free. Whatever choice he makes will determine what happens to Frank
