“The Masque of the Red death by Edgar Allen Poe, Poe uses imagery and symbolism to create an allegory that communicates to the reader the idea that you can’t escape death, everyone will eventually die. The story tells us about a group of people who during when the plague was happening, tried to hide from it in the prince’s castle. First, it tells that everyone will eventually die by the color of the rooms in the castle represent the stages of life. An example of that is in the first room the color blue represents birth and being young. Also, the last room is red and black which represents death in this story, and that is where everyone die in the story.
