The wizard leaves the tin man, the lion and the scarecrow in charge while he is gone. When the hot air balloon is about take off, Toto jumps out of the balloon and Dorothy runs after him. The wizard is unable to stop the balloon because he does not know to stop it and he leaves without Dorothy and Toto. Soon after, the good with of the north appears and tells Dorothy that she has all along the entire time had the power to get home. The good witch did not tell her at first because Dorothy needed to believe it. Once Dorothy taps her heels together three times and she said “there is no place like home”, she and Toto were back home in Kansas. The film turns back into black and white color again. Dorothy wakes up in her bed and she is so happy
