College graduation is the climatic end to step up onto a platform and be recognized for all the work one puts into for their future. When I step up to collect my degree I would want to improve on two elements William Cronon emphasizes in 10 specific qualities; listening and how to properly talk to anyone. I am not a very good listener, I have such a strong capability of mentally pulling myself out of a conversation or a lecture and being an inactive participant in the events around me. Also on the other hand, I can barely "hold a conversation" (pg. 378) with new people, I know myself to be unable to talk about something without feeling I have nothing to say to them. On graduation day, I wish to have exercised enough times in any point of my
