I can still remember the feeling of running home from school at 2:55pm, my oversized purple backpack trailing behind me as my miniature sneakers smacked the pavement one after the other. I was dying to get home, willing my tiny legs to carry me as fast as the wind could blow. Inside, waiting for me ever so patiently, was all I could ever wish for.
